We develop programs that prepare students for real opportunities, whether in creative industries or higher education. Through mentorship, hands-on learning, and structured guidance, our youth initiatives close access gaps and build confidence, skills, and direction.
Real Skills. Real Studios. Real Futures.
Plugged Into Production is Atlanta’s premier nonprofit youth training program in media, film, podcasting, music, marketing, and performance arts.
About the Program
We are a nonprofit creative career training program for middle and high school students in metro Atlanta. Based in a 7,000 sq. ft. commercial studio and led by professional mentors, we give students real tools, real experience, and real access to the booming media industries of Georgia.
Whether students are interested in filmmaking, podcasting, performance, or marketing—we turn their passion into purpose.

Career Pathways We Offer
Why It Matters
Creative careers are rapidly growing—but many students don’t have access to the tools or networks to break in. Georgia’s film industry generates over $4.4B annually, and creative jobs are expected to grow by 14% over the next 5 years.
Yet, underserved youth remain left behind. Our program changes that.
“This program made me believe I could actually work in film. Now I’m majoring in production.”
Cr8tive Futures is a four-month mentorship and college-prep program designed for high school juniors and seniors. Each student is paired with a dedicated mentor who provides one-on-one support with college applications, essays, scholarships, and test preparation—ensuring every participant steps confidently into their next chapter.
This program combines strategy, structure, and support to help students not just get into college, but thrive once they’re there.

Why It Matters
School counselors manage an average of 376 students each—far above the recommended ratio. As a result, many students—especially first-generation applicants—miss deadlines or lose access to aid simply because they lack hands-on guidance.
Cr8tive Futures bridges that gap through consistent, high-touch mentorship and community-centered accountability—helping students move from intention to enrollment with confidence and clarity.
